Hi, I’m Breanna! With over 5 years of experience building therapeutic relationships, I offer a warm, compassionate, and down-to-earth approach to therapy, working with both individuals and couples navigating relationships, sex, and life transitions. My goal is to understand what matters most to you, what changes are possible, what changes aren’t, and how you might start moving toward the life you want to live.
My approach to therapy is eclectic, drawing from various approaches to best meet your needs. These include cognitive therapies, which explore how your thoughts affect your feelings and behaviors; humanistic therapies, which honors you as the expert in your own life; Gottman Method Couples Therapy; Sex Therapy; and somatic, narrative, and mindfulness techniques. I also place a strong focus on psychoeducation and self-compassion, helping you build skills to approach life’s challenges with greater resilience and kindness.
When working with individuals, I take time to understand your ideas, values, beliefs, knowledge and experiences around sex and relationships to ensure therapy is tailored to you. For couples, I assess the strengths and areas for growth in your relationship so we can work effectively towards greater connection and relational satisfaction. I also believe humour can be a helpful tool in therapy—when appropriate, I use it to create a relaxed, open space for connection and conversation.
Before transitioning to full-time private practice, I worked in various strategic, managerial, and administrative roles in the public sector for over 9 years. I have experience in research labs related to couple relationships and attachment, paraphilias and mental illness, and childhood learning and cognition. I’ve also volunteered as a Crisis Responder with Kids Help Phone and with the Children’s Hospital of Eastern Ontario (CHEO).
Outside of therapy, I love experimenting with new recipes, traveling, enjoying local performing arts, and spending time in nature with my family.

Hello, I’m Bo! Around here they call me the Chief Empathy Officer (CEO). My main job description is to brighten everyone’s day. I also love treats (if you look closely, I saved some in my beard just for this picture!). If you’re lucky, you may see me in the background as I engage in my occasional supervisory duties. Feel free to say hi if you see me!
